La Case à Café

We came here on a Friday night and were very pleased. This is clearly a place beloved by locals (the place was full and there was a lot of takeout too) and has a hearty family atmosphere. The pizza is great and very fresh, and the server is clearly the heart of the place. It's too bad that we discovered this place on our last day in Le Havre.

Here you can discover Provençal-style pizzas, and the welcome is very warm and friendly.

The crust is very thin, the grated cheese pieces fill the entire edge and burn a little on the dough during baking. Also, I much prefer mozzarella pizzas to Emmental pizzas, but I suppose that's just a personal preference. I also find them a bit bland; they lack marinades and spices. In my opinion, it's one of the most overrated pizzerias, but good for those who like it. The staff is pleasant nonetheless.

I discovered Toulon-style pizza. Personally, as a true Italian, I confess I'm not a fan of the concept. I'm not familiar with Toulon's specialties, so I can't really judge. It might be very good... However, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the place has a charming, old-fashioned feel.
