Our visit to Manoir d’Apreval was an unforgettable experience that engaged all the senses from the very first moment. We were warmly welcomed by Agathe, the owner, together with one of her team members. They personally guided us through the estate, offering a fascinating behind-the-scenes insight into the production process, the daily rhythm of the farm, and the meticulous care behind every step. Walking through the orchards and production areas, we could truly feel the deep connection to the land – the subtle scent of apples in the air, the calm of the surroundings, and the authenticity of a place shaped by tradition and dedication. It was not only informative, but also deeply immersive and grounding. The tasting that followed took place in the garden, in a relaxed and beautifully natural setting. Surrounded by greenery, it became a moment of pure enjoyment – with the sounds of nature, the gentle atmosphere, and the elegantly presented ciders and calvados coming together in perfect harmony. Each sip revealed rich, expressive flavours that reflected the character and intensity of the terroir. It was a truly special experience – personal, authentic, and full of warmth, leaving a lasting impression through its simplicity, craftsmanship, and heartfelt passion.

A wonderful discovery of this beautiful manor house near Trouville! The visit was fascinating, covering everything from the production of apple juice, cider, and Calvados to other specialties of the Pays d'Auge region. The guide's explanations were very clear, and a fun little game (with tastings) concluded the tour. Finally, we thank her for adapting her explanations for our 8 and 10-year-old children (using diagrams and simplifying her explanations).

We took a trip to Normandy with Buchard Voyages. This magnificent place was on our itinerary. It was pure bliss. The owner explained the entire process of making cider and Calvados to us. A lot of work for such a small team, but so interesting. Many thanks to her. Afterwards, we had the chance to taste cider, Pommeau, Calvados, and cheese, all directly from the owner. There's also a small shop with biscuits, honey, and spirits—fantastic! A big thank you!

A superb estate and a very warm welcome. The visit was arranged through Buchard Voyages, and after explanations about their juice-making process and a tour of their Calvados cellar, we had a wonderful time tasting local cheese, cider, pommeau, and Calvados. Amazing place to taste cider and calvados! Friendly staff, we were a group of 15, and we are all impressed. Also there was a guided tour to see the production. Highly recommended!

Excellent productions, top-notch service, very beautiful place and very good value for money.

I highly recommend the guest houses at Manoir d’Apreval. The room in the La Tourterelle cottage has a magnificent view of the apple orchard, the sea, and the lights of the port of Le Havre. The setting is idyllic. Chrystèle's welcome was efficient and practical. A big thank you also to the owners, Agathe and Guy-Gustave, for their friendliness and generosity. We will be back!

Excellent organic cider from a magnificent estate where beautiful apple trees welcome you, with a sea view! Excellent value for money. The cider is delicious, especially the St. Georges vintage, truly magnificent in taste and with very fine bubbles. Exquisite! We even drink it as an aperitif! The quality is consistent; we've been customers for three years and have never been disappointed. And on top of that, a very warm and friendly welcome. Highly recommended!
